Next -- Harper keeps an eye out since Thom obviously won't, and spends the rest of the night doing his best to ignore Zird's... everything. Dawn breaks in an instant -- one second it's dark, the next the sun is shining in his eyes.

Before the Beginning -- Aludra presses a kiss to Jaela's palm. It feels weirdly natural, the way their hands and bodies move together -- Jaela is newly reincarnated, not two weeks ago she was her own brother, Aludra is finally accepting her attraction to women, not to mention the emotional whiplash of betrayal and death and reunion. But it feels right in a way Jaela calls Erathis-blessed and Aludra calls love at first sight.

also -- dndpodcast is. a lot. like I said to Aurora it takes them a while to hit their stride, and they're also playing 4e for... most of the stuff I super love, so if you're into 5e that might be weird and/or bad.

POV -- Thom listens to Harper argue with Jaela and Aludra with half an ear as he converses with Blooddrinker in his head. Harper is raw in a way he usually isn't -- sure he's emotional like usual, raising his voice like usual, annoying the fuck out of all of them like usual, but there's something seething under his skin aching to burst out. Thom tunes back in just in time to drop a quip about Harper wanting a threesome, but he's apparently misjudged Harper badly enough that Harper screams at him. He shrugs internally, says, "Sure, if you say so," and goes back to caressing Blooddrinker.

aaaaah if you do pls keep me updated! I do want to warn you that the first eps are really rough and it's not really until ep 50 ish that they hit their stride, and ep 80 when it gets gay. (But I'm totally down to stream some listening parties or something on rabbit sometime, if you're interested!)

He does! The fic is mostly about him confronting his issues/ trauma, and found-family feelings (with the canon background of the demon apocalypse he and the other PCs accidentally unleashed :g: )
